Synthesis Teams build game-based experiences to that turn kids into effective decision-makers and communicators. Our co-founder Josh developed the concept for Synthesis Teams when he was director of SpaceX’s Ad Astra school. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to help us create world-class collaborative problem-solving video games.
What You’ll Do
You will work with a team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality game-based learning experiences that will change the future of education:
- Collaborate with designers, teachers, and operations to design and implement new experiences for our students
- Have a design instinct and be able to make design decisions to improve the user experience
- Experiment and iterate quickly, pivoting when prototypes don’t pan out.
- Set up analytics to measure the impact of your work
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development using React.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypesScript, and related web technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, for both building features and data analytics.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with game development (e.g. Phaser).
