Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements. This role will focus on developing Technical/Commercial Proposals for Multi-Family Residential Projects segment. This will require an in depth understanding of Mid Rise, Garden Style, High Rise and other Multifamily projects as well as local codes and contractor bid and buy processes.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
- Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
- Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Min 5 years of experience in a contract negotiation or sales role, previous project quotations experience working in the electrical distribution industry, preferred.
- In depth Knowledge of Multifamily Residential product and solutions as well as competitors’ comparable products and solutions.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution and/or electrical construction industry (preferred).
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $61,900 and $115,100 annually.
