The company’s vast expertise in Engine and Generator installation and maintenance is now available in Libya and we are currently seeking a Field Service Technical Assistant in Libya to join our dynamic team.
Position: Field Service Technical Assistant
Location: Libya (Tripoli or Misurata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of propulsion engines, marine systems, and power generators.
- Support troubleshooting activities to resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials for site visits and maintenance tasks.
- Accompany the Technical Support Engineer to client locations, ensuring all necessary tools and documents are available.
- Maintain detailed logs of tasks performed during fieldwork.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards during all field operations.
- Manage and maintain an updated inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Coordinate procurement of consumables and critical components with the supply chain team.
- Inspect and test equipment to confirm functionality and readiness for use.
- Explain basic technical details to clients and address preliminary concerns.
- Engage in company-provided training to enhance technical skills and stay updated on product developments.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of propulsion engines, marine systems, and power generation equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
