About Melita Marine Group: Melita Marine Group is a leader in marine and Industrial services based in Malta. Following the success of Melita Power Diesel in Malta, the company has now expanded to offer its services in Libya. The company’s vast expertise in Engine and Generator installation and maintenance is now available in Libya and we are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Representative in Libya to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary: Sales Representative to Identify and pursue new business opportunities in power generation, particularly within the oil and gas and the commercial & industrial sectors.

Location: Libya (Benghazi or Misurata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in power generation, particularly within the oil and gas and the commercial & industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals as outlined by the company.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote the company’s products and services.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing tailored solutions.
- Gather feedback from customers to enhance product offerings and service quality.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s technical products and services, including generators, maintenance solutions, and related technologies.
- Work closely with the technical team to address client-specific requirements and provide customised solutions.
- Understand and communicate technical specifications and applications to clients effectively.
- Research and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the assigned region.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract agreements.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports detailing progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the technical and aftersales teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
- Work closely with the HR team to support recruitment strategies for expanding the sales force if required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certification or education in technical fields (e.g., Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the power generation, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
