Elementary Curriculum

Sheridan School District No. 5 is seeking a dynamic, energetic Elementary teacher who will teach in a single grade-level classroom. The successful candidate will provide appropriate grade-level instruction following the adopted District curriculum. They will need to be a cooperative team member of the school and community as we work together to promote Sheridan Schools and its vision of “educating the whole person, empowering them to reach their highest individual potential.â€Â They will need to support Special Education students as IEP and 504 plans are developed cooperatively to best meet the student’s needs. The successful candidate may also perform other duties as assigned by the building Principal. Extra-curricular coaching and advising opportunities may also be available for the upcoming school year.

 Sheridan Schools operate on a 4-day school week. Sheridan is located in the lovely Ruby Valley. It abounds in a variety of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. Our students have many extra-curricular opportunities including volleyball, football, basketball, track, and forensics. We also have a strong FFA program.

Academic Qualifications

 Applicant must possess a Montana OPI Certified Class 2 License Elementary Education or ability to obtain.
