We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservation Supervisor to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will lead and oversee the reservations department, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing room sales.

  • Supervise and manage the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
  • Oversee all reservation operations, including phone, internet, and email bookings
  • Implement and maintain reservation policies and procedures in line with company standards
  • Optimize room sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of reservation details into the hotel’s booking system
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience and streamline operations
  • Monitor and analyze reservation trends, preparing reports for management
  • Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Implement innovative approaches to improve reservation processes and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations in all reservation activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in reservations management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Advanced proficiency in reservation systems and hotel management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus (e.g., Arabic, French, German, Russian)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
