Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservation Supervisor to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will lead and oversee the reservations department, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing room sales.
- Supervise and manage the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Oversee all reservation operations, including phone, internet, and email bookings
- Implement and maintain reservation policies and procedures in line with company standards
- Optimize room sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of reservation details into the hotel’s booking system
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience and streamline operations
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends, preparing reports for management
- Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve customer issues effectively
- Implement innovative approaches to improve reservation processes and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations in all reservation activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in reservations management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Advanced proficiency in reservation systems and hotel management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus (e.g., Arabic, French, German, Russian)
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
