What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 24 months on your right to work
  • This is a full time role working 36 hours per week to include alternative weekends

A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator

  • Companionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents
  • Creating activities – you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources.
  • Event planning – our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents.
  • Resident interaction – you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition.
  • External communications – as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents.
  • Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.
  • Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.
