This Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) role entails providing executive support to the COO, ensuring scheduling and prioritisation of engagements, co-ordinating all logistics for meetings and events and facilitating communication between the COO and key stakeholders. This role holder will influence others towards action, and alignment, and ensuring a strong flow of information to and from the COO. The SEA is responsible for making sure the team is working in sync to achieve targeted goals and meet their responsibilities.

As well as standard SEA duties, this role will include managing projects on behalf of the COO. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders relationships and priorities, as well as monitor and influence senior stakeholders to deliver on project activities is essential.

Salary – £50,000 to £60,000.

Home based with travel as necessary.

  • Diary management: Manage the COO’s calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and prioritisation of engagements. Coordinate all logistics for meetings and events, including preparing agendas, compiling documents, and taking minutes.
  • Board and meeting preparation: Work with the COO on presentations and reports for the board and the Executive Team. Draft and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the COO
  • Strategic Initiatives: Tracking high-priority initiatives for the COO to identify any potential obstacles. Supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives, facilitating special projects, and ensuring action items are executed on behalf of the COO.
  • Project management: Oversee and manage a variety of special projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a liaison between the COO and the team, facilitating open communication and fostering a positive team environment. Develop and cultivate stakeholder relationships to amplify alignment with critical internal partners (connects work streams that would otherwise remain siloed). Builds bridges and champions a spirit of collaboration and open communications.

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant role, Chief of Staff role, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
