Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

• Main responsibilities to support DESMET Project team in executing the Projects with most cost effective and timely manner.
• Co-ordinating with various disciplines with clear communication – PM/Procurement/Process/Automation/Group offices to get the activities done in time while executing the projects.
• Preparation of detailed specifications for techno-commercial offers for Instrumentation, Electrical Equipment, MCC, PLC Panels, and other accessories, and assisting the Procurement team in timely purchase closures and techno-commercial negotiations, followed by timely approval of vendor drawings to ensure effective project execution. Prepare basic design for MCC/OCC and RIO Panels – and float enquiry and get techno commercial offer for assisting the Procurement of MCC/OCC + PLC PANELS.
• Drawing approval – MCC / OCC / RI-O station drawing approval & co-ordination with the panel vendors.
• Internally liaise with Automation & Electrical team in preparation of I/O list, Cable list & schedule in line with the Project requirement in time – to assist in time purchasing and in time delivery of PLC and other automation components for the Project.
• Supporting Budgeting/Estimation of Electrical and Instrumentation part for DIN Projects/Sales team & Preparation of Engineering documents details.

Required Profile

• Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience for Engineer position in engineering / Technology providers involving in LV MCC design / detail design engineering for process applications.
• Extensive knowledge of various safety standards and certifications in the electrical field, including IEC/EN standards, ATEX, and CE/UL markings.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
