Shangri-La The Fort, Manila

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila is located within Fort Bonifacio, a former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys, it is comprised of 576 hotel guestrooms and suites, 97 hotel residences and 98 exclusive Horizon Homes, the building is destined to be a Manila landmark. The new hotel complements the company’s five existing properties in the Philippines.

The mixed-use of business, residential and retail tower is located along 30th Street corner 5th Avenue, within the new, fast-developing Taguig business district. A 30-minute drive from the international airport, the hotel is also close to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club, and is just 10 minutes from Makati district, the capital’s financial, cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.

DUTIES

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Assistant Director of Human Resources and the Director of Human Resources, and within limits of established Shangri-La at the Fort policies, procedures and Human Resources manual. He/she will be assisting in ensuring efficient and healthy relationships among staff. He/she will also assist in social and sports activities, employee facilites and employee communication. Demonstrate key competencies and values.

Requirements

  • Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Audit or in the same capacity.
  • Preferably with minimum of 2 years experience in an international hotel.
  • Preferably knowledgeable about Comp. & Ben.
  • Preferably effective in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Preferably with excellent organizational skills.
  • Preferably has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Preferably has solid understanding of human resources processes and procedures
  • Creative and with an eye for details.
  • Outgoing and people-oriented.
  • Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.
  • Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.
