Job Overview
In this fully remote, full-time, entry-level position, you will provide technical support to our global customer base, assisting with installation, troubleshooting, and process guidance. We are particularly interested in individuals with an IT background who can deliver exceptional service and support.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, providing solutions or escalating complex problems as needed.
- Technical Support: Assist customers with server configurations, software applications, and installation of new sites on servers.
- Follow-Up: Ensure customer issues are resolved satisfactorily and follow up to confirm resolution.
- Documentation: Record customer interactions and resolutions in the support system.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement in customer support processes and propose solutions.
- Training & Development: Support training of new team members and stay updated on product knowledge.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze customer support metrics to identify trends.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a customer service or support role.
- Experience with CRM systems and customer support software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical aptitude for server configurations and software applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
