Position: Communications Associate

Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Associate to join our team. As a vital piece of our communication strategy, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our organization’s visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and implementation of innovative communication strategies that align with our mission and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance organizational visibility.
• Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect and disseminate relevant information and stories.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage to assess communications impact.
• Assist in planning and promoting events to maximize attendance and engagement.
• Draft press releases, media advisories, and other public-facing communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in a nonprofit or similar environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced settings.
