Join our passionate team in Brisbane as a Manager, Regional Infrastructure! You’ll lead the development and implementation of Regional Infrastructure Plans, coordinating strategic and prioritized infrastructure pipelines to address community needs. Your strengths in infrastructure planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and leadership will be key. Responsibilities include managing project risks, participating in high-level forums, translating policy agendas into actionable services, and providing strategic leadership to the team. Your Opportunity

As Manager, Regional Infrastructure, you will facilitate improved infrastructure planning and coordination through Regional Infrastructure Plans. You will lead the coordination of whole-of-government infrastructure planning for the delivery of the State’s economic priorities. Through stakeholder engagement, you will foster collaboration and partnerships and help implement the regional aspirations for the future by identifying and planning for the enabling infrastructure required to bring those aspirations into reality.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Regional Infrastructure Plans: Develop and implement Regional Infrastructure Plans to support regional priorities and aspirations.
  • Engage State Agencies: Coordinate strategic and prioritized regional infrastructure pipelines to address community needs over short-term, medium-term, and long-term horizons.
  • Influence Program Delivery: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize adverse impacts on the infrastructure program.
  • Participate in High-Level Forums: Actively participate in high-level forums and committees with government, industry, and other stakeholders to support successful regional infrastructure outcomes.
  • Translate Policy Agendas: Ensure the translation of key policy agendas and priorities into specific services and products that will achieve outcomes and support the State’s infrastructure and land use aspirations.
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Offer positive and strategic leadership to the team through effective visioning, capability development, performance management, staff engagement, and resource deployment.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee the financial and other resources of the Regional Infrastructure team within budget, timeframes, and government standards.
