Vice President Product Management

Equifax is looking for a hands-on Vice President of Product Management to lead our Core Risk Team. This is a player/coach type of role where we need someone who can roll up their sleeves to help while also managing a small team.

We are looking for someone who is a credit risk customer life cycle expert to refine and manage the customer product journey at Equifax from start to finish. This job will be responsible for defining and evolving the customer journey within Equifax’s USIS Division.

The ideal candidate will navigate a complex and matrixed product offering and create coherent journeys and experiences to target customer segments. They will define what products and offerings are best to engage customers with an eye on how to then grow the business within an established customer, reflecting the additional value driven through Equifax products.

The ideal candidate is obsessed with creating long term customers and has a proven track record for creating cohesive experiences that address the full lifecycle of credit needs for business customers. This role will lead our Core Risk Origination portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and perform gap analysis on existing customer journeys across multiple segments
• Propose solutions to address gaps and address new opportunities in the customer product journey
• Oversee the customer product journey for key customer segments
• Manage the roadmap for customer product journey enhancements across multiple platforms
• Work closely with product managers, tech leaders ,data scientists and other leaders to drive and measure customer journey outcomes
• Provide thought leadership to drive the creation of product strategy and portfolio management, maximizing opportunities through comprehensive solutions and marketing plans relevant to the assigned market/vertical
• Identify and develop new solutions leveraging market expertise, direct customer feedback and input from customer facing teams
• Partner with Vertical Leaders to drive and deliver product line performance (revenue, margin, growth) for multiple large/complex product sets with high revenue potential, enabling achievement of revenue and growth targets
• Manage new product innovation and go-to-market execution including launch and life cycle management from idea to strategies to product plans, driving the definition and execution
• Lead product strategy, road-mapping and design to align to market demand and strategic goals
• Engage with global product teams to leverage best practices and global trends
• Maximize growth opportunities through comprehensive product portfolio and marketing plan relevant to market and segment needs
• Identify, implement and manage product partnerships to drive revenue growth and market penetration
• Engage and define strategies needed to support differentiation and utilization of assets
• Identify, recruit, develop, retain and lead team of managers and individuals accountable for developing market leading solutions

What Is The Experience You Need

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• 5 years of experience working with FinTech, Telco and/or Auto verticals
• 10+ years of industry experience supporting credit risk life cycle stages (Pre screen, origination, account management)
• 5 or more years of experience in Product Management
• 5 years of credit risk decisioning expeirence
• 2 or more of management experience
