Job Description
Integrating the core values of respect, integrity, compassion, justice, and service, the Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and visualizing data to support the university’s ERP system. The role focuses on creating reports and dashboards, monitoring system usage, and providing insights to inform decision-making. Working closely with the Project Manager and end-users, this position ensures data-driven solutions align with institutional needs and goals.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to identify reporting requirements.
- Analyze data workflows and recommend process improvements based on findings.
- Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic needs.
- Document data analysis processes and provide clear instructions for interpreting reports.
- Assist in training staff on how to use reports and dashboards effectively.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge repository that includes FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for reporting tools.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting outputs.
- Monitor system performance and provide actionable insights based on user feedback.
- Support ongoing ERP system updates by updating reports and dashboards as needed.
- Perform other data analysis-related duties as assigned.

- Assist in Help Desk operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Relevant certifications in data analysis or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) are a plus.
