Job Summary

Commercials Sales Manager – Will work with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the success and profitability of our dealer portfolio and to acquire new dealers, fleet, and commercial customers. This position will evaluate the performance of all current dealers in the Onvo portfolio, manage contracts, renewals, brand programs and overall financial return of the accounts. This position will execute strategies to optimize the performance of our accounts and encourage growth of the portfolio through the acquisition of new accounts and growth of fuel volumes from existing locations. Adherence to brand standards, mystery shop compliance, advertising programs, retail execution and meeting with brand partners to maintain solid relationships and taking prompt corrective actions is an important aspect of this role. Acquire new fleet accounts by in-person and telemarketing efforts to enhance fuel sales at our travel plazas. Additionally, acquire new commercial accounts for wholesale fuel delivery sales.

Essential Functions

  • Understand, practice, and communicate to fuel accounts, Onvo’s commitment to proper safety, health, and environmental practices.
  • Analyze sales data from accounts, address concerns, make corrections.
  • Present findings from analysis to leadership and propose improvement strategies.
  • Determine profitability and viability of each account, offer improvement suggestions.
  • Consistently focus on the customer, provide what is contractually required.
  • Build trusting relationships and mutual respect with everyone you deal with.
  • Represent Onvo with credibility and integrity and act as a business advisor, consultant and credible source of industry and market knowledge.
  • Execute solutions to increase sales or identify alternatives to enhance account performance.
  • Oversee application, credit, and contract process with future accounts.
  • Coach accounts to improve image, retail execution and customer service.
  • Monitor fuel brand mystery shop scores, work with dealers to improve and cure deficiencies.
  • Communicate internally with Onvo personnel to resolve billing or payment issues.
  • Work with accounts to efficiently manage fuel deliveries for mutual benefit of the parties.
  • Manage technology issues, new initiatives, upgrades to remain in compliance with brand and industry standards.
  • Manage brand and Onvo programs to build loyalty and grow Onvo business.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Must have a thorough understanding of the fuel and service industry.
  • Must understand key factors that drive the success of a service operation.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and business agreements.
  • Ability to keep work on schedule, meet deadlines and commitments.
  • A deep understanding of financial analysis of fuel business, pricing, freight, etc.
  • A thorough knowledge of current business and fuel industry trends.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Outlook

Credentials And Experience

  • Prefer 5 years of experience in fuel distribution, dealer operations, convenience store operations, and or service industry.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires the lifting of boxes that weigh from 10lbs to 20lbs.
  • Position requires travel by car, safe driving record, valid driver license.
