This opportunity is for a temporary full-time Trainee Records Officer. In this position you will assist the Records Officer in the day-to-day management of Council’s correspondence, ensuring records are registered, maintained, archived and disposed of in compliance with the provisions of the State Records Act 1998.

To be successful you will need a Higher School Certificate or equivalent, a demonstrated desire to learn and an interest in pursuing a career in Records Management. You must hold a P1 or P2 Driver Licence and have good computer skills and the ability to use appropriate applications.

Benefits For You

  • The salary is graded at a T4 – T6 with a salary range of $1,606.66 to $1,986.40 per fortnight, the starting salary will be determined upon the experience and skills of the successful applicant
  • Working 76 hours per fortnight over 9 days with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
  • Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
  • Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
