Your Impact
As a Administrative Assistant you’ll play a key support role in:
- Customer Engagement: Be the friendly voice and welcoming face for all incoming calls and visitors. Assist customers in resolving their questions and concerns about parking ticket fines, billings, and special assessments.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential clerical and administrative assistance to the Delinquent Collection Section, ensuring that all tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Permit Assistance: Work closely with the Permit Technician to issue business permits and licenses, ensuring compliance with NC General Statutes and the City of Greensboro Code of Ordinances.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 1-3+ years of customer service experience, particularly in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing multi-line telephone systems.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with web-based software systems (e.g., T2, Enquesta, NC Debt Setoff).
- Knowledge of licensing and permitting processes under NC General Statutes and City Code of Ordinances.
