Role Overview
The Commercial Creative at EDGLRD will play a key role in ideating and shaping brand campaigns that drive results. Working closely with the Brand Strategy team, you will conceptualize and craft innovative ideas that connect with audiences while aligning with client goals. From brainstorming sessions to pitch presentations, you’ll ensure that creativity and strategy intersect seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Ideation: Develop creative concepts for brand campaigns across various media channels, including digital, social, experiential, and traditional advertising.
- Pitch Development: Collaborate with the Brand Strategy team to craft compelling pitches and presentations that communicate creative ideas effectively to clients.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with art directors, copywriters, strategists, and designers to bring concepts to life.
- Cultural Insight: Stay on top of cultural trends, emerging technologies, and audience behaviors to inform and inspire creative ideas.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and workshops to gather insights and present creative concepts.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure creative work aligns with the client’s brand vision, values, and commercial objectives.
- Execution Oversight: Support the production team during the execution phase to maintain creative integrity and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years in a creative role at an advertising agency or similar environment. Experience in pitch development is a must.
- Creativity & Strategy: Strong conceptual thinker who understands how to marry creativity with business strategy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for pitching ideas and collaborating with teams.
- Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Cultural Savvy: Passionate about culture, design, and trends, with the ability to translate insights into innovative ideas.
- Tools: Proficient in presentation tools like Keynote, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro, Figma).
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your creative work, including campaigns, pitches, or other commercial projects.
