Position Overview

MedRock Pharmacies is seeking a passionate Recruitment and Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team. This hybrid role blends talent acquisition with core HR functions, providing a unique opportunity to shape our workforce while supporting employees throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, is a proactive problem-solver, and demonstrates expertise in both recruitment and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent across various roles, including healthcare, pharmacy, and administrative positions.
  • Create and post job advertisements on appropriate platforms.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with business goals.

Onboarding & Integration

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Coordinate training schedules and provide resources to support new employee success.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in updating and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all employee documentation, contracts, and records are accurate and up-to-date.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee concerns, providing guidance and resolution support.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture by organizing engagement activities and fostering collaboration.
  • Support retention initiatives by regularly assessing employee satisfaction and recommending improvements.

Performance Management & Development

  • Assist managers with performance evaluations and employee development plans.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for performance improvement and recognition programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and HR operations, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and recruitment tools.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
