Position Description
The Communication Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all internal and external communications for a company, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and engaging. This professional develops and implements effective communication strategies, manages public relations, creates content for various platforms, and ensures seamless internal communication. They also play a critical role in crisis management, responding to public issues promptly and effectively. Monitoring and analytics form a key part of their role, assessing the effectiveness of communication strategies and making necessary adjustments. They may also lead a team of communication specialists, providing guidance and ensuring the team’s goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing effective communication strategies , managing the company’s image and reputation.
- Develop communication strategies that align with Amideast mission and vision and promote our products and service portfolios.
- Responsible for managing public relationships with media personnel.
- Prepare press releases and promotional materials and oversee Amideast product/program launches and promote Amideast products and services.
- Oversee content creation for websites, newsletters, and marketing materials to ensure all content aligns with the Amideast’s mission, brand, and goals.
- Responsible for monitoring Amideast’s online presence, media coverage, and educational trends.
- Use analytics tools to measure the success of communication strategies and make improvements as needed to ensure all is aligned with Amideast mission and vision and ensure products and services promotion.
- Lead Amideast graphic designers and content creators, and oversee their tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring the team meets Amideast marketing strategy and goals
- Participate in the hiring of marketing assistants, content creators and graphic designers
- Ensure smooth operations of marketing daily activities
- Contribute to the performance appraisal and conduct review of reporting employees and ICs
- Issue the independent contractor monthly pay and follow up with finance for due payments
Required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in communications or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop effective communication strategies.
- Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

Design knowledge on Canva, Adobe
