Shift Times: FT (AM/PM/MID shift as business demands) Weekdays and Weekends (requiring open availability)
Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated Bell Person to join our team at Epicurean Atlanta. As a Bell Person, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay at our hotel.
Job Responsibilities
- Escort incoming guests to their rooms and assist with luggage
- Offers information pertaining to the available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
- Answer guest inquiries and address any concerns they may have.
- Deliver messages and guest amenities as needed.
- Explain room features such as television and in-room movie system.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure that they are in order and supplies are adequate.
- Maintains lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc.
- Responsible of organizing, replenishing Gift Shop snacks and beverages to ensure they are still in good condition.
- Clean and organize the bell closet. Inform management when items are running low.
- Attend and participate in monthly front office meetings.
- Must be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Guest Relations
- Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
- Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing, or physically impaired individuals within guidelines (e.g., escorting them when requested, using words to explain actions, writing directions on paper, moving objects out of the way)
- Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process (e.g., LEARN, PLEASED, Guest Response, LEAP) to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
Job Skills
- Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a routine.
- Provide exceptional guest service.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 75 pounds with assistance
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Lift and carry items such as luggage, trays of dishes, and bags of golf clubs.
- Other tasks as they arise to meet business demands.
Requirements
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Prior experience in a luxury brand hotel preferred.
