The primary job function of the Assistant Director will be managing the day-to-day operations of an Assisted and Independent Living retirement community while generating and maintaining successful occupancy levels.

Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
• Will supervise the day-to-day operation while upholding the fulfillment of all applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in the hiring process of hospitality-oriented staff.
• Train and supervise staff to maintain a highly functioning team environment.
• Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence and resident satisfaction.
• Facilitate communication with residents, families and staff.
• Will supervise the day-to-day operation while upholding the fulfillment of all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manages community income and expenses based on the annual budget.
• Promotion of the community resulting in admissions.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess strong relationship building skills and be a proven manager in marketing.
• Assisted Living management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
