Procurement and Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supplier Management and Sourcing:

  • Manage the procurement of raw materials, electronic components, cables, electromechanical items, and other materials required for the production and assembly lines.
  • Execute and manage purchase orders, expedites and ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency and supplier compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.Provide services to multiple internal departments, including Planning ,Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Project Management, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory related to procurement and shipping activities.

Logistics and Shipments:

  • Oversee and coordinate all import/export activities, including international shipping and customs brokerage.
  • Negotiate for competitive prices while continuously evaluate the performance of logistics partners.
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on electronic components, cables, and electromechanical items.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Independent, team player with high negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems – Priority – an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pased dynamic work environment.
  • Import/Export Knowledge: Solid understanding of international shipping processes, customs regulations, and brokerage. Preferably in the defense industry.
