Job Summary
This position works under the direction of the Regional Vice President. The position assumes authority, responsibility and accountability for managing the operation and effectiveness of the assigned programs – Day Habilitation, In-Home Services, Residential Habilitation, and Employment Services. This position is responsible for the quality outcomes and indicators of the program in the respective markets to ensure programs are operating with integrity and efficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum Requirements)
Education and/or years’ experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, in the field of social services, education, or human services field
Two years’ experience managing/supervising staff
Valid North Dakota Driver’s License
Preferred Skills And Abilities
Five years’ experience managing/supervising staff
Prior experience with a wide variety of professionals, regulatory responsibility, and community contacts to assure program effectiveness
Foundational level of business acumen to drive high quality programming that is financially sound
Experience in Human Services, specifically working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position would supervise the Program Coordinators in the location assigned
Essential Functions And Accountabilites
Demonstrates the ability to work under the direction of the Regional Vice President to implement and execute organizational and programmatic strategy
Demonstrates the ability to be accountable for accurate, efficient, and ethical billing practices for regional program services.
Demonstrate the ability to be able to work with a wide variety of social, economic and cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrate the ability to adjust daily routine and schedule to respond to staff and program issues.
Collaborates with the Regional Vice President and Administrative Assistant, to process and handle any appeals of the billing to assure appropriate program reimbursement.
Collaborates with Health Information Management department to respond to program integrity audits.

Demonstrates ability to rapidly respond to a evolving situation and intervene as appropriate
Demonstrates ability to identify areas and opportunities for growth and development of programs and staff to ensure high quality services that incorporate active treatment, client centered programming, safety and self-advocacy.
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work closely with the Regional Vice President to facilitate effective organizational communication to include, keeping the assigned operations teams informed and ensuring the Regional Vice President and Anne Carlsen leadership are apprised of programmatic updates and/or serious events/incidents as they arise.
Demonstrates ability to compile and submit all required program reports (e.g., incidents, QE, CQL) to the Regional Vice President accurately and in a timely manner.
Demonstrates ability to ensure regional Day Habilitation, In-Home Services, Residential Habilitation, and Employment Services are provided according to the established ACC policies and procedures, federal and state laws, rules and regulations.
Demonstrates ability to comply with program benchmarks/expectations of satisfaction surveys and organization / program reviews/ audits.
Demonstrates the ability to be responsible and to balance team caseloads to maintain an appropriate ratio of direct/non-direct activities and services.
Demonstrates ability to work in conjunction with the Regional Vice President for care/maintenance of the buildings and grounds; to including Anne Carlsen owned vehicles and coordinate the repairs as needed with contractors.
Demonstrates ability to establish collaborative relationships and networks within the assigned programs and with other Anne Carlsen programs.
Demonstrates working with the Regional Vice President to build collaborative networks within the region (e.g., referral agencies, parent advocacy groups, etc.)
