Farm Hand

Starting May 2025, we require 200 workers for 6 to 9 months to fill various farm roles, primarily focused on picking and packing citrus fruit. Additional tasks include pruning, thinning, planting, and operating light machinery. The work is located in Harvey, approximately 1.5 hours south of Perth, Western Australia.

The work you will be doing is hard and physically demanding. You must be physically capable of working on your feet for long periods at a time and be able to cope with repetitive manual labouring work.

You will work an average of 30 hours per week over every 4-week block. You must be willing to work weekends to be considered for this role.

You will be paid both at an hourly rate and at piece rates, depending on the task you are performing. The hourly rate is $30.13 in line with Level 2 (casual) under the Horticulture Award. The hourly rate for a competent Level 2 piece rate worker is $34.64.

Days of work are across a 7-day roster, Monday to Sunday. Hours of work range from 6-7am starts, until 3-4pm.

Onsite training will be provided to successful applicants and there is a potential to up skill based on performance. You may be promoted to Level 3 subject to your ability, performance or an increase in your skillset /qualifications.
