Must Haves
Key Skills and Attributes
- Proven graphic design experience
- Demonstrate production of work with a portfolio
- Good knowledge of design software including Adobe CC and Figma
- Prototyping
- Video and animation experience
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- Excellent communication skills

About the Role
At mkodo the digital designer role is quite special. The Digital Designer gets to work with the whole spectrum of stakeholders within mkodo, but also external clients, giving them a broad experience of how a multitude of different teams, work. As well as creating beautiful, on brand, engaging design work the digital designer will be expected to have a broad design theories and practices knowledge and be aware of the latest developments and trends within the sector.
Main Responsibilities
A digital designer is accountable for creating and communicating design concepts to internal and external project teams. This includes the following responsibilities:
- Continuously enhance expertise in design thinking methodologies, design systems, core user experience principles, and user interface best practices.
- Conceptualize and iterate visuals based on requirements and design briefs
- Graphics produced will capture the attention of the audience and communicate the defined message
- Testing graphics across various print and digital media
- Sales support to produce engaging and on-brand design materials and collateral
- Marketing support to produce engaging and on-brand social media campaigns and product collateral
- Maintaining an awareness of innovations in the creative arena to support new business opportunities
- Work with Creative Director, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Developers to design conceptual solutions to business problems.
- As part of the team, work collaboratively across the company to continually improve the quality of work produced
- Plan and execute the work within agreed estimate, time schedules and priorities
- Develop your skills using trainings mkodo offers and be willing to ask questions when you are not sure or when something is in your way.
- Support mkodo in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of its ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Adhere to all relevant mkodo ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures and requirements at all times.
- Complete any reasonable tasks relating to the mkodo ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).
