Overview

Summary/Objective

The Administrative Assistant position provides administrative support to the VP of Human Resources and SVP of People Operations. This role ensures all supplies are stocked, lobby and conference room are clean and ready for visitors, coordinates company events and any other special events for the office. This role ensures the overall needs of the office are met to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Compensation: $42,000-$48,000 DOE

  • Autonomous and self starting role.
  • Keeps lobby, conference room and kitchen areas cleaned and stocked.
  • Assists with new employee onboarding tasks.
  • Runs various errands as needed.
  • Assists with updating documents on the intranet.
  • Ensures company supplies are stocked, manage inventory, and ensure office equipment is maintained.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for VP of HR and SVP of People Operations.
  • Assists with set-up and clean-up of visitor meetings.
  • Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Assist in communicating company events and important updates to all relevant employees.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Perform related work as required.

Supervisory

Responsibility

This

position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copy machines.

Position

Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • One year of administrative experience.

Preferred

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Two or more years of related work experience.
  • Experience with Office Suite.
