Overview
The Director, Nursing – IDD is critical to the growth and retention of IDD clients. This position will support IDD clinical services and sales through day-to-day clinical operations to ensure quality of care & services, regulatory compliance, support of business development & growth, achievement of key performance indicators. This position provides a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic clinical nurse wanting to join a fast-paced, growing company.
This is a remote position with 60% travel. Applicants must reside anwhere within the following States: PA, NC, or VA
Required: Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Prior experience in providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD), or related disorders a plus.

Responsibilities
- Offer clinical credibility as the in-house expert, providing insight and consultation in customer-facing engagements to support growth and retention in the IDD sector
- Provide clinical customized solutions to articulate the Pharmerica/Pharmacy Alternatives value proposition in respect to the advantages the company has in providing the best possible patient care
- Develops and maintains relationships with professional organizations and national/state agencies to enhance the PAL brand and offering
- Customize clinical service packages to IDD agencies which include trainings, webinars and customer support
- Collaborate with sales, pharmacy, account management and marketing departments
- Assists with new business start-up implementations
- Consults with IDD agencies to provide mock surveys, audits, etc.
- Understand customer issues and challenges; quickly and effectively provides a plan for resolution
- Conducts/participates in regularly scheduled sales, account management and operational improvement meetings, reviews pertinent available data, identifies trends and oversees the implementation of improvement plans relating to health services
- Supports the sales team and partakes agency presentations
- Assists operations management team in fostering positive community relations with external customers as needed

Education/Experience
Qualifications
- Education: Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 10 years nursing experience. Prior experience in providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities, or related disorders a plus.
License/Certification/Other Special Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must have the ability to use a computer utilizing company documentation systems.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information.
- Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements.
Travel Requirements
Percentage of Travel: 25-75%
- Approximately 60% travel required.
**To perform the duties of this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occassionally bending, reaching, climbing (stair/ladders), crawling, kneeling, crouching and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 75 lbs.**

Salary Range
USD $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 / Year
