Overview :
The IT Business Analyst will have experience in information technology and general business. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity and protecting sensitive information through advanced analysis/research and recommending solutions, policies, and procedures, evaluating system functionality, design, testing, and documentation of the ERP and other business-related systems.
General Duties and Responsibilities :
Work with IT team and business team members to identify and understand business requirements
Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties
Identify and document business rules, dependencies, assumptions, risks, supportability, performance, and training needs
Create Integration technical design documents which include process flow/sequence diagrams, entity transformation mapping definitions (JSON, XML, CSV), and documentation for the development teams to be able to build
Facilitate the application onboarding process, understand the technical challenges, and propose an optimal solution
Collaborate with Solution Architects and development team to implement the solution following design principles
Provide end-user support for integration projects and translate needs into developing test plans
Create test plans, including definition of testing requirements, testing criteria, test data, scripts, user acceptance conditions, and end-to-end test requirements
Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation (e.g. workflow charts, functional configuration, application updates, and performance issues)
Performs the investigation and resolution of complex and critical data integration issues in the production environments
Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting
Help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs
Qualifications :
5 or more years of experience in business and/or data analysis including end-to-end testing
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven skills in data analysis, visualization, and proficient data collection
Experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology
Able to analyze large-scale information or data
Advanced problem-solving skills
Familiarity with project management principles and practices
Understanding of database design principles and SQL for querying and manipulating date
Proficient with tools like Visio for system design and documentation
Knowledge of Big Data Architecture and cloud computing
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Able to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and when making presentations
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record
Able to work a flexible and varying schedule including some weekend hours
