INH Property Management is a Midwest based, full-service real estate company. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Specialist – HRIS Administrator to join our growing HR team. This combined role offers a unique opportunity to blend both strategic and operational HR responsibilities, along with the management and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate will be adept at managing day-to-day HR functions, while also overseeing HRIS administration and supporting HR system enhancements.
HR Specialist Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, conflict resolution, and other related matters.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee onboarding processes.
- Training & Development: Assist in the design and delivery of employee training programs to enhance skills, engagement, and productivity.
- Benefits: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.
- HR Reporting & Analytics: Support management with HR-related reports, turnover analysis, employee engagement surveys, and other key metrics.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities to strengthen organizational culture.
HRIS Administrator Responsibilities
- HRIS Administration: Manage the daily operations of the HRIS, ensuring it is optimized for efficiency and effectively supporting HR processes.
- System Implementation & Upgrades: Lead or participate in HRIS system upgrades, implementations, and improvements.
- Training & Support: Provide HR team and end-user training on HRIS system functions and updates.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Address and resolve system issues and provide support to HR and other departments related to HRIS functionality.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of associated degree, bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist functions.
- 2+ years of experience managing HRIS platforms (Workday, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or similar).
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to support both operational and strategic HR functions.
- Proven ability to analyze data and create HR reports to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot HRIS-related issues effectively.
- High attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
