As a Marketing Associate, you’ll join a small, high-performance marketing team, developing engaging content for digital and traditional marketing channels to elevate our brand and support lead generation and nurture efforts. We’re seeking a candidate with experience in B2B marketing, particularly at the intersection of technology and professional services, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings creativity, initiative, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation
- Collaborate with designers and subject matter experts to produce content that is clear, engaging, and informative, breaking down complex healthcare and insurance technology topics for diverse audiences
- Stay informed on industry trends in insurance and healthcare technology to inspire new content ideas
- Write, proofread, and edit a range of materials, including case studies, articles, presentations, videos, press releases, email campaigns, social media posts, website copy, and ad copy
- Digital Marketing
- Work alongside creatives and sales teams to execute targeted digital initiatives that generate qualified leads
- Assist in Planning, implementing, and managing SEO and SEM efforts using tools like Google Ads and Google Analytics
- Develop marketing campaigns and track engagement metrics using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Monitor, nurture, and grow X by 2’s social media presence across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- General Marketing Support
- Use data and analytics to evaluate and improve marketing strategies and campaign effectiveness
- Support conferences and events through content creation and attendance as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to address the marketing needs of sales, recruiting, and company culture
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within small- to mid-sized technology, professional services, or related companies
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, professional writing, communications, journalism, or English
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Adobe Suite is a plus)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics)
- Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Preferred Qualifications
- Local to the Metro Detroit area
- Experience working in small or mid-sized organizations
