Position Summary

The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in executing and managing social media initiatives for FAT Brands. Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media, this role will focus on creating and managing content, engaging with online communities, and driving brand awareness across our digital platforms. The Social Media Manager will ensure our brands maintain a consistent and impactful presence in the fast-paced world of social media.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop platform-specific content strategies for brands under the FAT Brands umbrella.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and stories.
  • Maintain and update a content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant postings.
  • Write compelling captions and posts that align with each brand’s unique voice and style.

Community Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build and nurture online communities by fostering engagement with followers and brand advocates.
  • Identify and address opportunities for customer service issues or brand feedback.
  • Create and execute engagement activities such as polls, Q&As, and live events to encourage interaction.

Campaign Support

  • Assist in executing social media campaigns designed by the Director of Social Media to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align social media campaigns with marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotions.
  • Use social media advertising tools to manage sponsored posts and paid campaigns.
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.

Trend Analysis And Optimization

  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Regularly analyze the performance of content and campaigns to identify areas of improvement.
  • Recommend and implement platform-specific tactics to improve reach and engagement.
  • Experiment with emerging platforms and features to keep FAT Brands ahead of the curve.

Collaboration And Support

  • Work closely with the Director of Social Media to align strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Establish relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other partners to amplify brand reach.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external vendors, tools, or agencies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging content and managing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and engagement.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Tagger, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
