Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Product Associate to join the Product Management team at Zola. In this role, you will support product development across all elements of Zola’s business, from our two-sided Vendor Marketplace to our Wedding Registry and shopping experiences to Wedding Planning Tools and new business opportunities.

The successful candidate should be equally comfortable discussing scope with developers, talking SEO with marketing, and reviewing project results with an analyst. You will anticipate challenges, communicate trade-offs, close gaps in requirements, tie up loose ends, and make sure that the product matches the customer and business needs. You’re a problem solver and have a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support multiple projects at the same time. You’ll dive into data to understand the impact of your work, and you’ll love working with kind, smart colleagues who share a commitment to putting the customer first!

This full-time role will be hybrid at our office in NYC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the execution of product initiatives related to all of our businesses
  • Partner with product managers to keep projects organized and on schedule
  • Work on key features that have been prioritized to drive growth and engagement
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment across key teams like creative, engineering, and marketing through strong communication
  • Understand and report on performance of features and AB Tests
  • Show an ability to understand the customer and contribute creative ideas about how to serve them better
  • Keep the overall product portfolio organized and field requests and questions from stakeholders across all initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced consumer focused environment working alongside engineering or product management teams
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to participate in technical conversations about project scope and timing
  • Ability to build business relationships across functional teams
  • Proficient with Excel and familiar with SQL
  • Experience with reporting tools like Looker, Tableau, etc
  • Creative, scrappy, and customer-obsessed
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Passionate about the wedding space
  • BA/BS required. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business is preferred

The salary range for this position is $90K – $105K
