Onboarding Coordinator
We are looking for an Onboarding Coordinator to join our professional services team, overseeing new client onboarding project timelines and communications.
Description
As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will be responsible for the most visible parts of our new client onboarding projects. You will be responsible for maintaining the project timeline, monitoring work completed to budget. You will be scheduling and monitoring resource allocation, monitoring for risks to the timeline or the deliverables and communicating these risks both to customer stakeholders and the internal team. You will also be the primary contact with the client through the project lifecycle, maintaining and updating customer documentation as project objectives are completed and coordinating the turn up or down of services impacted by project changes.
Successful candidates will be able to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, not shying away from difficult conversations when deadlines are at risk or customer expectations are out of alignment.
Responsibilities
- Handle workload of 3-4 simultaneous client onboarding projects
- Handle project initiation with handoff from Sales and Client Success Teams
- Ensures Client Success Team is kept informed throughout project lifecycle
- Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Ensure that resources are allocated appropriately, and deadlines are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the onboarding project team, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources (e.g., personnel, hardware, software) needed for onboarding project execution.
- Identify potential project risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that client expectations are managed and aligned with onboarding project deliverables
- Handling of internal conversations on changes to scope and creating change orders when appropriate
- Coordinate project closure activities, including final documentation, client sign-off, and post-project analysis.
- Participate in continuous improvement exercises with the team
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in an MSP environment
- At least 2 years of experience in a support or service delivery role (ex. Help Desk, Field Services)
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage time effectively to balance competing timelines of multiple projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic project management principles and strategies
The Pay Range For This Role Is
70,000 – 85,000 USD per year(Remote)
