What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and other services
- Handle incoming calls and manage follow-up and referral work queues
- Communicate with patient care teams to ensure efficient and appropriate patient care
- Enter patient data accurately into the electronic health record while engaging with patients
- Support various Population Management and Chronic Disease Management initiatives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, or
- 1 year of experience as a Patient Scheduler I, or
- 1 year of experience in a contact/call center
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in a high-call volume environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
