Description

Responsible for the preparation of Business Intelligence (BI) analyses and reports for key stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires expertise in analytics tools, a strong understanding of data systems, and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet business intelligence needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather reporting requirements and analyze data to provide recurring reports.
  • Perform quality assurance and test conclusions to ensure the validity of analyses.
  • Select appropriate analysis methods to provide the most accurate insights for issues or problems.
  • Deliver recurring reports and/or analyses to stakeholders on time.
  • Extract data from operational systems and reporting databases to support decision-making processes.
  • Utilize globally standardized dashboards and reporting practices to fulfill BI requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior BI analysts and BI leaders to understand end-user needs and ensure alignment with assignment purposes.
  • Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders regarding analysis and reporting deliverables.
  • Demonstrate Cummins Leadership Behaviors to build and sustain a culture of leadership within the organization.

Responsibilities

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or related fields.
  • Proficiency in contact center analytics development.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Solid understanding of Databricks concepts.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience in supporting customer-focused organizations.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and develop clear, accurate conclusions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
