Job Summary
The International Specialist is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day tasks throughout the international department. This will include conducting criminal record searches, employment and education verifications, and other products offered by the international department. They are responsible for entering requests sent to the international team from our clients and updating all requests with accurate and timely updates and results. They oversee day to day tasks such as manual entry of requests, identifying late orders, updating open orders, following custom client assignments, etc. This position starts out as entry level and will require strong attention to detail and proactive communication with our team to ensure that all requirements are provided with the searches and there are no delays as well as communication with Customer Service Representatives to best support our clients. This will include an overall understanding of the International products offered.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Policies and Procedures to ensure the expectations of our clients are being met
- Perform the necessary research to ensure customer orders are processed thoroughly and efficiently
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping proprietary information confidential
- Utilize all available tools to effectively perform job responsibilities
- Communicate timely updates and results as outlined by InformData and client expectations
- Utilize knowledge of products, services, and workflow to ensure orders are processed per policy and procedure
- Maintain communication with the vendors to establish lasting relationship
- Ensure that all searches are being updated with the required details within the required time frame

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented, with good written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Must be flexible and able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – Intermediate or higher proficiency)
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems and communicate results
- Experience with process workflow design and creating standard operating procedures
- Basic knowledge of data structures
Working Conditions
- This position requires the incumbent to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of work station.
- The person must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions in a fast-paced, team environment.
- This position requires the ability to interact with all levels within the organization types of people and requires the ability to respond professionally to all individuals and work well as a team player.
- This position may be requested to work overtime on occasion to meet company objectives.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Must be able to occasionally move about the office to access office equipment, etc.
- Must be able to constantly operate office equipment such as a keyboard, phone, computer, copier, fax machine and printer, etc.
- Must be able to frequently communicate and collaborate with InformData employees and vendors in written and/or oral form
- Must be able to occasionally move, bend, lift, push, pull and carry no more than 20 pounds
- Must be able to view multiple monitors for extended periods of time and visually determine accuracy, details and transcribe date in close proximity of computer software
