Job Description
- Perform environmental screening of water samples utilizing techniques such as Flow Cytometry and Microbial Culture
- Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures, make observations, and interpret findings
- Record all data and results in specified forms with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in stocking laboratory supplies
- Assist in R&D projects and process improvements
- Ability to work autonomously under pressure and is effective in communicating with peers

Requirements
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Accuracy with numbers

- Able to lift 50 lbs
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or Biology
- Experience with microbiology laboratory equipment operation, sample preparation and interpretation of results
- Understanding of microbiology with ability to communicate the details; explain and educate
Responsibilities You Will Own
- Extended periods of time in laboratory executing tests, running experiments, and maintaining equipment
- Receives laboratory samples with proper review of paperwork – accuracy is vital
- Lab work to include conducting tests, reading results, and entering results electronically
- Complies with all safety guidelines (laboratory, equipment, and material handling)
- Takes pride and initiative in your work as well as the physical condition of lab
- Willing and proactive in helping teammates as needed
Benefits
- Starting pay is $25.00 – 30.00/hr. based upon experience
