Job Description: Receptionist

Mondays 5pm to 8:30pm

Fridays 5 to 8pm

Every other weekend Saturday from 8:30am to 8:00pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm (hours are negotiable for weekends)

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Or Requirements

Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit. Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduces the customer to a salesperson. Answers all incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department / individual or takes a thorough message. Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Maintain a professional appearance. Must assist with clerical duties as requested. Handle and accurately count cash, following cash counting guidelines as lain out by management. Operate credit card machine properly including, but not limited to, charging cards, refunding money, and providing receipts. Check vehicle tags in and out as needed. Maintain a log of all gas receipts as needed. Properly document all vehicle book and key sets. Maintain accurate and up to date phone list for all employees. Keep front desk tidy and organized at all times. Restock bottle water as needed and in a timely manner as to always maintain a reasonable amount of cold water for customers. Properly maintain a complimentary coffee machine. Properly organize all books, keys, and any other documentation as needed. Keep a stack of trade -in envelops filled with all the proper items. Ensure that all tags, cash, receipts and deals have been returned to their rightful locations and secured. Maintain kids zone area organized. Complete other duties as assigned.
