Position Summary

A Day in the life of….
We have an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the Accounting Operations Team as an Accounting Operations Accountant. Within this team we are responsible for the Period End Close process, the maintenance of the ledger, balance sheet quality and management reports to our Global Leadership Team and Senior UK Management.
Key responsibilities of this role are likely to include:
- Activities related to supporting the accounting Period End Close process
- Undertaking aspects of inter-company invoicing
- Undertaking Royalties calculations, posting and reporting
- Continuous improvement project work and support for other team members
- Ensuring the effectiveness of processes for the reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Global reporting of results to Vevey
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate you’ll be eager to learn, have the ability to develop positive working relationships at various stakeholder levels whilst working to specific requirements. The successful candidate will ideally be studying for an accounting qualification.
Key skills required include:
- Good excel skills and preferably SAP experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly proactive with ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
- Strong results focus to meet deadlines along with excellent attention to detail
