Position Overview
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of high-impact projects across the organization. This position involves managing multiple projects, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all projects meet their goals, timelines, and financial targets. The Director serves as a critical liaison between executive leadership, project teams, and stakeholders, ensuring that projects are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Lead regular project meetings, providing status updates, resolving conflicts, and making decisions to keep projects on track.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all product development projects and programs.
- Monitor and track the progress of multiple projects, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
- Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential roadblocks.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to established standards across all projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a primary point of contact between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among departments to ensure project alignment and resource allocation.
- Drive consensus and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum
Strategic Leadership
- Own, organize, and facilitate stage-gate process for all projects
- Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
- Align project priorities with organizational goals, ensuring all initiatives support long-term business objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with leadership and manage the portfolio for K18s product pipeline
Financial and Resource Management
- Provide regular financial and progress reports to executive leadership.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the organization’s project management capabilities remain competitive.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes and gather insights for future initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years experience as a Project Manager, specifically overseeing new product development of a consumer product good
- PMP is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle from conception to launch
- Experience with project management tools – Wrike, Microsoft Projects
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinator, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Commitment to driving results and fostering a culture of accountability.
Salary Range: $130,000 – $145,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
