The Designer will explore and conceptualize design solutions and deliver great ideas that drive toward the overarching brand strategy, and are expertly and beautifully crafted. You understand that great creative doesn’t exist in a vacuum and are comfortable working across teams/disciplines to ensure all work is on-brand and in line with the greater brand strategy. We are looking for someone with an overall positive outlook on life and their work. You will fit right in if you believe in the power of teamwork, deliver on your promises and have the curiosity to continuously seek new approaches and ways to grow. You possess a passion for great design, a superb aesthetic sense, an exceptional eye for detail and a deep appreciation for data-driven creative. You have the ability to create simple solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and appreciate the value and power of brand equity.
  • Develop unique design approaches to complex print & digital design challenges.
  • Be a strategic thinker, understand branding, and arrive at insights that help solve challenges.
  • Create designs and visual patterns that are simple, elegant, and useful.
  • Create amazing work while mentoring other designers and shaping their skills and perspective.
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to manage feedback constructively.
  • Deliver solid work on tight schedules.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Work with the content & creative team and marketing team to craft beautiful and compelling brand experiences.
  • Be involved at every stage of the creative project lifecycle.
  • Create engaging brand elements such as infographics, data visuals, and illustrations.
  • Assist in illustration, photography/video, motion design, and social media content.
  • Take a project from start to finish including assisting in production and execution of design materials.
  • Assist in the creation of new photography & videography assets.
  • Attend and actively contribute to brainstorms and creative project planning meetings.
  • Mentor junior level designers, helping them shape their design perspective.
  • Collaborate effectively with other creatives, the marketing team and other department units.
  • Keep up to date on design trends and analyze the competition.
  • Build strong and enduring partnerships. Take appropriate risks and invent new ways of solving problems.
  • Fuse creativity, technology and business acumen to develop creative that is on brand, on brief, on strategy and on budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 years’ experience
  • Must submit current digital portfolio for consideration
