Description

  • Recruiting – Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in line with Metrc’s leadership principles and high-performer strategy. Conduct interviews, coordinate hiring processes, and assist in onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations – Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Foster a positive workplace environment, promote Metrc’s Leadership Principles, and create and promote employee engagement initiative. Responsible for building and maintaining engaging content on Metrc’s intranet, The Lake. Responsible for the execution of and follow-up on all employee engagement surveys.
  • Performance Management – use Metrc’s systems (Lattice, Paylocity) to implement performance appraisal systems and to provide training to managers in how to conduct such evaluations. Assist in setting performance standards and goals for Metrcians.
  • Training and Development – Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs in line with Metrc’s Leadership Competency Framework. Implement ongoing leadership development initiatives and track for key performance metrics.
  • Compensation and Benefits – Work with finance on oversight of compensation structure and benefits. Work with payroll to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting – Maintain and analyze P&C metrics to inform decision- making. Prepare reports for management regarding P&C initiatives and employee performance and attrition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster a positive company culture.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with Paylocity and Lattice is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
