RN – Cardiac Surgery Unit for hospital up to $125,712.00 plus benefits

Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly) Day Shift

The Cardiac Surgery Unit is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities of the RN in the Cardiac Surgery Unit include:

• Providing direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
• Coordinating patient care with other members of the healthcare team
• Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan

Qualifications for the RN in the Cardiac Surgery Unit include:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Have work experience of 1 to 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty
