We are seeking a talented Research Associate to join the firm. In this role, you will work primarily with the investment team, financial advisors, and clients. You should feel comfortable talking directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the investment research process.
- Gathering and analyzing data
- Reading and summarizing academic and industry research
- Conducting due diligence on private/alternative investments
- Performance calculation and reporting
- Analysis of client and prospect securities/portfolios
- Assisting the CIO and Investment Team in evaluating new investments/strategies
- Communicating internally and externally about investment markets, strategies, and broader economic trends and insights
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of marketing materials and internal investment tools
Qualifications
- 2 – 10 years work experience in finance and investments required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics or related subject preferred; Master’s degree is a plus
- Obtained, or progress towards, CFA and/or CAIA strongly encouraged
- Ability to do independent research and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is critical to the position
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Friendly, strong desire to learn, and ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
