Job Description
About the Role:
The Senior People Operations Business Partner (POBP) will be a pivotal player in our small but mighty People Ops team, embedding within key departments to drive alignment between business goals and people strategies. You’ll work closely with leaders and team members across GTM, Product, and Engineering teams – driving talent management, employee engagement, and employee experience programs.
As we scale, we need someone who can navigate the exciting (and sometimes chaotic) cultural shifts that come with growth. This isn’t your typical HRBP role. We’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, take on ambitious projects, and ensure our people strategy evolves with our company. If you thrive in high-growth environments and love the challenge of scaling teams, policies, and culture, in a remote environment, this is the role for you.
While this is a remote role, we have a strong preference for candidates in the East Coast.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with leaders and teams across the company to design and execute both strategic and tactical people initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving organizational performance.
- Talent Management & Employee Relations: Collaborate with leaders and teams to craft and drive people strategies that fuel business performance.
- Career Development & Culture: Refine and enhance career tracks, launch HIPO programs, and lead initiatives that cultivate a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture.
- Compliance & Project Management: Ensure people policies and practices align with SOC2, HIPAA, and applicable labor laws. Lead cross-functional initiatives that support growth, optimization and compliance.
- People Analytics: Co-create dashboards and insights to track engagement, turnover, hiring, and performance – using data to inform leadership decisions.
- Learning Partner: Act as a learning partner and mentor to other People Ops team members, supporting professional growth and fostering a collaborative, high performing team environment.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years as a strategic People Business Partner / HRBP supporting leadership and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Proven track record of driving results in scaling environments and execute end-to-end people projects.
- Expertise in talent management, employee relations, and remote-first/multi-state operations.
- Ability to seamlessly switch between strategy and execution – designing frameworks while handling employee relations directly.
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging people analytics to inform decisions.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills that influence at every level.
- Familiarity with HR tools like Lattice, Rippling, Notion and Ashby ATS.
- Experience shaping remote culture and employee engagement strategies.?
- Preference for experience in the tech or health tech industry.
Benefits & Perks:
?Remote work environment with a flexible work schedule to encourage work-life balance
?Annual company offsite
?Generous leave package including flexible time off policy that encourages team members to take time off to relax and recharge; plus 13 paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave
