Accounting Assistant

Job Description

• You will assist the Accounting Department with both Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processes
• Routing of invoices within payable software
• Assist the Project Accountants with trade partner insurance compliance and collection of proper lien documentation
• Assist with monthly owner billings
• Distribution of mail daily to the accounting team
• You will be required to communicate with various team members including the Project Management Team clearly and professionally, the Accounting Team, Trade Partners, Owners, Architects and other Business Partners

Requirements For This Position

• Strong computer skills

Position Preferences

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with AIA documents, Lien Waivers, construction industry a plus
• Knowledge of Florida lien law
