Our Homecare Assistant Manager
- Manages and organizes the daily functions of the Home Care staff at the assigned office(s) including the planning and organizing of the homecare supervisory team with day-to-day program client/employee matters.
- Works with the Branch Manager to implement new processes & programs, and monitor employee goals & expectations.
- Manages the training of both current and new Home Care Administrative staff; Monitor staff performance and progress, recommend and implement additional staff trainings, and if necessary, performance improvement measures.
- Ensures ongoing program compliance by monitoring staff performance, client/stakeholder communication & documentation, and physical file maintenance.
- Provides regular staff progress and performance reports to the Branch Manager.
- Oversees the Home Care Aide (HCA) hiring process including the selection, orientation, and evaluation.
- Collaborates with the Branch Manager to select, hire, train, and evaluate Administrative Home Care staff.
- Coordinates services for the client by communicating with HCAs, case managers, and client family members.
- Seeks new means of inter-agency and intra-agency communication to ensure appropriate client cares
- Assists with the evaluation development and revision of agency policies and procedures related to Home Care services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in social service or health related field; or a minimum of three years working in a health, social services, or equivalent setting.
- Valid Driver’s license and automobile insurance verification.
- Ability to have a full-time in-person presence and the assigned location; Ability to engage in local travel.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- One or more years of Home Care Supervisory experience, or equivalent experience.
- A heightened level of understanding of WA State WAC requirements related to homecare staff training and required certificates.
