Work Hours: Standard Working Hours Monday – Friday
Location: 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
As our Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Acts as a mentor and role model by consistently demonstrating the Company’s values and excellent leadership behaviors.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly concerning current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Partners with compensation and benefits teams; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Promotes learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. Evaluates and provides training as needed.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. SHRM or HRCI certifications are preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. In addition to, acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong background in Excel.
